Fees and Funding

Distance learning courses are increasingly being recognised as offering advantages to both students and employers, but funding opportunities do not always keep up with developments in distance learning, and many of our students are self-funded.

Apart from self funding, you could speak to your employer, explaining how your qualification will be a sound investment for your organisation's future. A number of our current students are wholly or partly employer-sponsored, and many organisations are also willing to offer study time, if not to subsidise courses directly. Some professional associations can be a good source of loans at preferential rates, or even grants. Applicants from the armed forces may be eligible for Enhanced Learning Credits.

Is there any financial support available to distance learning students?

Many students study our distance learning programmes to develop their careers and find that their employers are keen to support them, either financially or by providing study leave.

How much will it cost?

The fee for the complete programme for the academic year 2012/13 is £6545 (with start dates for September 2012 or March 2013).  Students can pay the whole course fee upfront, or in two annual sums, or in six instalments over two years of the programme.
