Accommodation

The conference accommodation is located within our Oadby Student Village at John Foster Hall, within the leafy suburb of Oadby, about two miles from the University campus.

The address is John Foster Hall, Manor Road, Leicester LE2 2LG.

Check in is from 2.00pm on the date of arrival and we ask guests to vacate their rooms by 9.30am on the date of departure.

Car parking at accommodation

Car parking is available on site, however space cannot be guaranteed. The University of Leicester is fully committed to its environmental policy. With this in mind we would encourage all delegates to use public transport in the first instance (see venue and travel)

Transport between John Foster Hall and campus

On Tuesday and Wednesday, coach transportation will be provided for delegates as part of the conference package, from John Foster Hall to the University in the morning and back again in the evening.

Accommodation facilities

Completed in October 2006, this modern, state-of-the-art venue includes a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with social space for every four/five rooms.

29 of the bedrooms have been fully adapted for wheelchair users with some rooms having the additional benefit of an adjoining en suite carer room.

All rooms have free internet access and telephone with pay-as-you-go service.

The adjacent Conference Suite includes a reception area, hospitality bar, dining room and six multi-functional meeting rooms.
