Selection Criteria

Museum Utopias are pleased to offer 4 travel bursaries of £200 each to full-time PhD students not in receipt of any other funding from their department, University or external body to attend the Symposium. Applicants who are in regular paid employment should not be in receipt of sufficient funds to pay for their travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses.

Three bursaries will be offered to international PhD students who reside overseas and the fourth will be offered to a UK – based PhD student who meets the above criteria. All bursaries will be allocated on the basis of financial need.

To apply for a travel bursary please complete the form and send it to us by Tuesday 31 January 2012.

You must submit a covering statement of no more than 200 words stating why you should receive this funding and your application must be countersigned by your PhD supervisor.
