School of Social Work
Set up in 1966, the University of Leicester’s School of Social Work has had a long tradition of professional social work education and training in Leicester. The School has strived to improve and promote social work through research and dissemination of knowledge.
Together with its programme partners, the School provides social work education and training at both qualifying and post-qualifying levels. Practitioners, statutory and voluntary social work agencies and other bodies and the community at large benefit through consultancies and advice from the academic members of the School.
