Italian at Leicester

Why Study Italian?

Studying Italian will enable you to appreciate the culture that produced the Renaissance, Italian cinema, as well as globally recognisable design, fashion and food! Choose from a wide range of culture studies modules, including film, literature, the arts, history and linguistics.

At the end of your first year you will attend a three-week language Summer School in Massa Marittima. This is fully funded by the University.

We put great emphasis on language learning and ensure the continuing development of students' different language skills, both spoken and written. All members of staff are actively involved in scholarly research in specialised fields.
