How to Apply

How to Apply

Your application should be made through UCAS. It will be considered carefully by our Admissions Tutor who will take into account your educational development and potential as shown by your GCSE results, your personal statement and, of course, how your teachers assess you as a potential Modern Languages undergraduate, including your A Level grade predictions.

Our Admissions Tutor usually decides whether to offer you a place on the basis of your UCAS form. If we make you an offer UCAS will contact you and you will receive a letter from us inviting you to come to one of our Open Days. This will give you a chance to meet staff and students, and to find out more about what student life is like at Leicester.

Mature Applications

We welcome applications from mature students (over 21 years old), including those who do not necessarily have a conventional educational background, and from all sections of the community. We advise such applicants to contact us directly, by phone, email or letter so that we can advise you about your application.
