As part of the quality teaching and research we strive for, the School of Modern Languages hosts a cutting-edge suite of facilities to help you learn and research.

MA Translation Students in our interpreting suiteOur Research Centre for Translating and Interpreting Studies is fully equipped with state-of-the-art language laboratories, as well as a large library of visual and aural materials from broadcast and internet sources. Our school also features cutting-edge interpreting booths.

 

mod lang students using computers.jpgThe Modern Language Study Centre (MLSC) offers an open space for study, with PCs, printing facilities, audio-visual equipment and a large library of learning materials in French, Spanish and Italian.

 

 

In addition, we regularly present a programme of seminars to showcase our work, at which visitors are most welcome to attend, alongside a range of symposia and conferences.
