MA in Modern Languages and Humanities

This is a multi-disciplinary degree with students studying a majority of modules (including a dissertation) within the School, but able to choose optional modules from a range of associated disciplines. Detailed and innovative Research Training and Issues and Ideas modules are also taken.

Alternatively, students can choose to take just one or two optional modules from the School, and follow a different Humanities pathway.

The School presently offers two pathways:

  • European Cinema
  • Literature in Translation
