Research Summary
Dr Kenny's research has focused mainly on French poetry and drama. He has written extensively on early twentieth-century French poetry. More recently he has published articles on Molière and the importance of music in the comédies-ballets, and aspects of the early eighteenth-century Théâtre de la Foire. He is currently writing a full-length study on travelling theatre companies in the French provinces and abroad in the early eighteenth century.
