Research Summary
Marc studied both his undergraduate degree (BA Italian and Spanish) and his Masters degree (MA Humanities and Modern Languages) at Leicester. He is currently researching his PhD thesis with a focus on the theme of space in the Mexican cinema of Luis Buñuel. His interests include Hispanic and Italian cinema and film studies as well as linguistics and Catalan.
Marc is currently looking to prepare a paper on the representation of space in Luis Buñuel's 'The Young One' and the Peter Matthiessen short-story 'Travelin' Man' on which it is based.
