Affine cellular structure for affine Hecke algebra of rank 2

Abstract:

Recently, Konig and Xi have introduced the notion of affine cellular algebras which generalised the theory of cellular algebras for finite dimensional algebras to infinite dimensional algebras. Then they showed that the extended Hecke algebras of type A are affine cellular. In this talk I will show that the affine Hecke algebra of rank 2 with unequal parameter are affine cellular. The proof relies on the explicit partition of the corresponding affine Weyl group into Kazhdan-Lusztig cells.
