British Topology Meeting 2009
Leicester, September 14-15, 2009
This 24th British Topology Meeting supported by the LMS Scheme 1 grant will take place in Leicester Department of Mathematics on September 14-15, 2009; it is organized by J. Hunton (firstname.lastname@example.org), A. Lazarev (email@example.com) and F. Neumann (firstname.lastname@example.org) . The emphasis of this annual event is on the interactions between topology and other disciplines of Pure mathematics. Two keynote lectures will be delivered by Ib Madsen (Aarhus) and Martin Markl (Prague).
The registration fee for regular participants is £20; it will be raised to £40 if you want to attend the conference dinner; the latter will take place on Monday September 14 at 8 p.m. at La Tosca, a restaurant half a mile away from the conference site. Respective costs for British-based postgraduate students is £5 and £10. Speakers and postgraduate students will be given support covering their accommodation and travel.
The conference will be followed by an LMS regional meeting and a workshop on derived categories.

The majority of participants will be staying at John Foster Hall, Manor Road, Oadby Leicester, LE2 2LG. This venue is located a couple of miles away from the main campus. There will be a minibus taking the participants from John Foster Hall to the conference site at 8:45 a.m. on the 14th and 15th of September.
