MSc in Mathematical Modelling
in Biology
The MSc in Mathematical Modelling in Biology aims to provide a comprehensive perspective of existing modelling approaches and contemporary methods of data analysis used in biology and ecology.
The focus will be on design, analysis and implementation of mathematical models for problems arising in life sciences, with special emphasis on ecological applications, theoretical neuroscience and brain research.
Programmes in Actuarial Sciences 
The full-time MSc in Actuarial Sciences builds on the success of our part-time distance learning PgDip/MSc in Actuarial Science. We are pleased to offer a campus-based one year programme covering the first core technical modules (CT1-8) of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries syllabus which has received full accreditation.
The PgDip/MSc in Actuarial Science by distance learning at Leicester is the only distance learning course accredited by the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries. By studying this course you will gain the first accredited qualification in the step towards becoming a fully accredited Fellow of the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries.
Pre-Masters Diploma in Mathematics
This one year programme aims to prepare students for a Mathematics MSc degree here at Leicester. The course will provide a comprehensive grounding in Mathematics to enable non-mathematics graduates to succeed in a mathematics masters degree.
