• Getting Mathematics undergraduates into schools!
  Leicester's Mathematics undergraduates are involved in the Undergraduate Ambassadors Scheme (UAS) and the Student Associates Scheme, whereby students are placed in schools and inspire and encourage students there. UAS is incorporated into the module MA3511 Communicating Mathematics and as such may be chosen as part of the Mathematics degree course.
  
  If you are a mathematics teacher in Leicester or Leicestershire and would like to get involved with either UAS or the Student Associate Scheme then please contact Professor Nicole Snashall.

  Wednesday 15th February 2012. Please let Professor Nicole Snashall know (by 8th Feb) if you are intending to come to this networking event for our Mathematics alumni who are currently teaching mathematics (at whatever level).

  These will take place on Saturday 23rd June and 7th July 2012.

  These will take place on six Saturdays May 12th, 19th, 26th at the University of Leicester and Saturday June 16th, 23rd and 30th at the National Space Centre. These are organised together with the Royal Institution London and the National Space Centre Leicester.
