Forty-second BLOC meeting

Bristol Leicester Oxford Colloquium
The forty-second meeting will be held on Monday 25th August 2008 in the Mathematical Institute, 24-29 St Giles, Oxford.
Programme:
12pm Lunch
2pm Burkhard Kuelshammer (Jena) On blocks with dihedral or abelian defect groups
3pm Tea
4pm Wolfgang Willems (Magdeburg) p-complements and separation of characters
Early Dinner
Please let Karin know by August 22nd if you are coming to the meeting, especially if you are coming for lunch and/or wish to stay for a meal in the evening. If you require accommodation (since the meeting is taking place on a Bank Holiday) then please contact Karin or Nicole.
There will be time for informal discussions during the day.
The meeting is supported by an LMS Scheme 3 grant. This is used to help offset travel costs for those from institutions participating in the scheme, with priority given to speakers and postgraduates.
