Fifty-fourth BLOC meeting

Bristol Leicester Oxford Colloquium

The fifty-fourth meeting will be held on Thursday 4th August 2011 in the Centre for Mathematical Science, City University, London. Both talks will take place in College Building room CG03.


Programme:

12.15 Chris Bowman (Cambridge) Dipper-James bases of quasi-hereditary covers of diagram algebras

3.00 Kevin McGerty (Oxford) Derived localisation for GIT quotients


Please let Maud de Visscher know by August 1st if you are coming to the meeting, especially if you are coming for lunch and/or wish to stay for a meal in the evening.

There will be time for informal discussions during the day. 

The meeting is supported by an LMS Scheme 3 grant. This is used to help offset travel costs for those from institutions participating in the scheme, with priority given to speakers and postgraduates. Please note that, if travelling by train, then you should purchase an advance ticket where possible, since the grant will not cover standard open return tickets to London during peak hours.
