Location Details

 

Leicester is based on major road and rail links and is only 1 hour 15 minutes from St Pancras, London by train.  It is ideally situated in the centre of England  so is easily accessible and is wellplaced for many local attractions including Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The venue of this event will be held centrally in Leicester at the Ramada Jarvis hotel, a five minute walk from the train station. The address is:

Leicester city centre is a five minute walk from the train station and the University campus ten minutes. Maps of Leicester can be found here

Local trips could be arranged to the following:

Warwick Castle - Is less than an hour away and is a well-preseved and impressive castle. There are numerous  interesting things staged here, such as a huge trebuchet which throws fireballs for several hundred yards, jostling, and hunting eagles. The history stretches back almost 1,100 years.

Stratford-Upon-Avon - The birthplace of William Shakespeare, steeped in history and culture. It is also the home to the the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and is approxiametly 30 minutes away by car.
