Preliminary Registration and Accommodation

Please select the appropriate registration fee and your preferred accommodation arrangements from the following options.

An email confirmation of your selection and the respective costs will be sent to you upon submission of your choices.

Accommodation at athe Ambleside Campus of the University of Cumbria has been reserved for the conference. There is a choice of 4 different types of room: single room en suite, twin room en suite (normally for two participants), single (non-en suite) room, and twin (non-en suite) room (normally for two participants).

All the standard accommodation packages below include (prices vary with the choice of type of room):

  • 4 nights (Monday to Friday) accommodation
  • breakfast (Tuesday to Friday)
  • lunch (Monday to Frinday)
  • dinner (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • conference dinner on Thursday
  • refreshments throughout the conference
  • internet connection

The Lake District is a known holiday destination in England due to its natural beauty, especially for travellers interested in walking and hiking. Part of the Lake District experience is often spending the night(s) at one of the traditional Bed and Breakfast (B&B) establishments scattered in the area. For the delegates interested in taking up on this option, a list of B&Bs near the conference venue is given here to make their own arrangements. (Please note that this is only a list of B&Bs in the area, coming without any particular recommendation from the organisers in terms of quality of service.)

The corresponding non-resident package for the conference includes:

  • lunch (Monday to Frinday)

  • dinner (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)

  • conference dinner on Thursday

  • refreshments throughout the conference

  • internet connection

Due to limited accommodation facilities, the accommodation in campus will be prioritised to delegates. If you plan to be accompanied by non-delegate(s) it may be, therefore, preferable to use the non-resident option and seek accommodation at a local B&B.

All prices below are per person. Although the organisers will endeavour in satisfying all requirements, that may not be possible in the end, due to limited accommodation facilities. In such cases, the organisers will contact you with alternatives.

Please indicate if you require one or more of the following additional arrangements.

If the standard packages offered above are not suitable for you, please contact Tara Smith at th53@le.ac.uk for further details.

Please complete the conference payment form and return it by fax (+44 (0) 116 252 3915) or by post (A4A6, Department of Mathematics, University of Leicester, University Road, Leicester LE1 7RH, United Kingdom). Fees are payable in advance by credit/debit card, cheques (in pound sterling), bank drafts or bank transfer. The deadline for early registration payments is 30th of June 2009.

Please use this field if you would like to communicate any particular arrangements, not covered above, to the organisers (e.g., dietary requirements, details of accompanying person(s), late night arrivals, etc.)

Thank you for registering to A4A6.
