- A special issue on Quantum Cognition and Quantum Decision has appeared in the Journal of Mathematical Psychology
- The National Science Foundation (NSF - US) has awarded $450,000 to Jerome Busemeyer (principle investigator) and Zheng Wang (co-investigator) Ohio State University, for their quantum cognition project.
- The Research Programme of the Research Foundation - Flanders (Fund for Scientific Research - Belgium) has awarded €236,000 to Bart D'Hooghe (principal investigator) and Dideriek Aerts (Center Leo Apostel (Dept. of Mathematics, Free University of Brussels, VUB) and Emmanuel Haven (co-investigator) for a four year research project which will develop and test a general economic theory for financial option pricing based on the mathematical formalisms of quantum mechanics and to model a socio-economic system incorporating its emergent, contextual and non-deterministic aspects.
