Areas of Research
The School of Management offers study in the following broad areas: Organisation Theory, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, Marketing and Consumption, Accounting and Finance, Knowledge and Innovation, Economics and Political Economy and Human Resource Management. Our programme has an emphasis on critical and creative thinking across all functional areas of management. Our staff supervision interests cover a wide range of topics.

School Facilities for Campus-Based Research Students
The School is able to provide access to a computer, printer and telephone.
A PhD community is encouraged by the School through the two annual internal PhD conferences that are compulsory for all research students.
Attendance at external conferences is encouraged from the second year onwards, and campus-based students are expected to go to the weekly school seminar which offers presentations from visiting and school academics.
