Biography
Sina Yekini joined the School of Management at the University of Leicester as a lecturer in Accounting and Finance in January 2010, having previously taught at Royal Holloway, University of London. He obtained his BSc (Hons) in Accounting from Nigeria and later qualified as a chartered Accountant (ACA). He worked in audit professional practice with one of the ‘big’ five auditing firms before joining the banking industry where he functioned in several managerial positions especially in treasury, financial control and internal control departments. He obtained his MSc in Finance from the University of Leicester and also studied for his PhD in the same university.
Research Interests
My research interests can be broadly grouped around financial reporting, accounting regulation, issues in disclosure, financial risk management, and the hedging process.
