Biography
Kenneth joined the School of Management at Leicester in January 2010 having previously studied at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. During the period of his doctoral study, Kenneth also held the post of a teaching assistant on the Heriot-Watt MA Accounting and Finance Degree Programme from 2006 – 2009.
Research Interests
On a general level, Kenneth is interested in accounting research and the role(s) of the profession and the academic in developing and maintaining accounting practices. He also has interests in critical accounting and emancipation; postmodern analyses of finance; and social accounting.
Teaching
Kenneth currently delivers two modules on the BA Management Studies degree programme:
MN1001: Introduction to Accountancy 1
MN1003: Introduction to Accountancy 2
Kenneth also delivers an options module on the MSc Accounting and Finance programme:
MN7037: Social and Environmental Accounting
Administrative Responsibilities
Kenneth is acting as programme leader for the MSc Accounting and Finance, and the MSc Management, Finance and Accounting degrees.
