Partnership with University of Leicester nutures growth of local company
L-R: Jim Willis, Bulb co-founder, Professor Simon Lilley, Head of School of Management and Dr Will Green
The partnership received financial support from the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) programme and Dr Will Green, Lecturer in Innovation, Operations and Knowledge Management at the School of Management has used project funding to help Bulb better understand user-centered design to ensure new software applications are intuitive and engaging.
"The Knowledge Transfer Partnership suits our needs well" says Jim Willis, one of Bulb Studio's co-founders. "We have regular advisory meetings with Dr Green, who has also delivered training in user-centered design, so we feel very well supported."
Bulb's rapid expansion has allowed them to open a new office in London and look further afield to possible offices in the United States.
