Forthcoming publication from School of Management Professor
Quantum social science deals with a variety of topics in psychology, economics and finance. Above all else Haven and Khrennikov demonstrate how to define probabilities which are conditioned upon ‘contexts’ as opposed to ‘events’. A probability rule is proposed which uses interference terms of the trigonometric/hyperbolic varieties. The book also proposes a classical wave model which can reproduce probabilistic predictions from quantum mechanics and it applies this model to quantum like processing of information.
Quantum social science will be published by Cambridge University in October 2012. ISBN: 9781107012820
