Writing a Proposal
In order to apply, you will need a clear idea of an area of interest. It is important to look at the research interests of the staff involved in the programme and to discuss your area of interest with us early on in the application process. We may or may not have the expertise to engage in supervision of your topics.
You will then need to write a research proposal following LILL guidelines, including methodology to be used, and send it to us for discussion. We will usually be able to provide feedback and guidance on whether it seems a viable project.
New ideas and structures will inevitably evolve as you start to explore your chosen subject, but your initial proposal will motivate and propel you through the programme.
