Programme Outline

The University of Leicester Institute of Lifelong Learning offers a MPhil/PhD programme for students undertaking research in the fields of:

  • Civil Safety and Security
  • Popular Culture and Spirituality/Religion

The programme welcomes applications for full- or part-time registration from UK, EU and International students. Full-time MPhil/PhD registrands must be resident in the Leicester area during their period of registration.

We are happy to receive informal enquiries and ideas about potential research topics, as our academic staff may or may not have the expertise to engage in supervision of your topics.

Vaughan College 150th Anniversary Celebration

A second event to mark the 150th Anniversary of Vaughan College took place on 24 September 2012 at the College, with an evening of talks, student discussions and a book launch.
