 Our short courses in Humanities and Arts provide a great opportunity to learn more about a topic that has always interested you, whilst developing a wide range of transferable and employment related skills. They are also a great way to ease yourself into study before committing to a longer course.

All of our short courses in Humanities and Arts are university accredited qualifications and are worth 30 credits which you can use to progress onto further study. Our tutors have wide experience in teaching a range of students, particularly adult and part-time learners. We offer a supportive environment for learning, especially
for those who have not been in formal education for a long time and have to juggle home life, work and study. Study support is considered crucial and tutors are experienced in encouraging you to draw out your full potential.

A second event to mark the 150th Anniversary of Vaughan College took place on 24 September 2012 at the College, with an evening of talks, student discussions and a book launch.
