Is this the course for me?Psych

This is a two-year part-time course for people who have an interest in learning what contemporary Psychology is and what it can offer. It brings alive an interest in the study of how people think, feel and behave. The course will be particularly useful for you if you work in education, welfare and health or, more broadly, if you have day to day interactions with others such as working within teams, with young people or
dealing with members of the public.

Assessment

Modules are assessed by essays, projects and ‘seen’ examinations.

Career relevance and employability

You will learn about the theories and research in psychology that help us to explain people’s behaviour, thoughts and feelings. You will develop your powers of critical analysis and your ability to communicate verbally and in writing. You will also learn how to find and use sources of information for the study of psychology.
