Aims and Objectives
- Recognised as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) qualification in the field of emergency planning, response and management, this programme provides you with significant opportunity to develop your career.
- During the course you will assimilate the key ideas and concepts relating to risk management and, crucially, how these can be applied in the real world of planning and responding to novel or unforeseen events.
- You will develop key skills in the critical analysis and evaluation of vital organisational and conceptual concerns that are central to the field of emergency planning and management. You will also develop the skills needed to design, conduct and critically appraise research, and to engage in informed debate about major issues and recent developments in emergency management.
