Applicants to the Senior Status LLB must achieve a completed undergraduate degree, with a final result that is equivalent to the following:

Please ensure that you include a scan of the institution’s grading information – often found on the reverse of the transcript.

Please note that conditions of the offer will state that the degree must be completed by the August before you begin your degree programme with us. Final transcripts / certificates must be submitted which clearly demonstrate that you are able to graduate.
Students that narrowly miss the entry criteria for the Senior Status degree programme may be made offers for the 3 year degree programme instead. If those students then achieve a result of over 60% in their first year, they may be eligible to transfer in to the final year of the senior status programme.
English language qualifications
Applicants whose first language is not English should normally include one of the following in their qualifications:
- GCSE or IGCSE English language at grade C or above
- IELTS score of 7
- TOFEL score of 250 plus TWE at 4.0; or 90 out of 120 in the IBT
- WASSCE (West African Senior School Certificate Examination) O Level English at grade C or above

If you do not meet our English language requirements, then you can bring your English up to the level needed by taking one of our English language preparation programmes at the English Language Teaching Unit. They also offer weekly English language classes that are focused on legal reading and writing skills for Law students.
