Gemma joined Leicester in 2008 having previously worked at the University of Birmingham as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant. Her primary research interests lie in the field of tort law and she is currently completing her doctoral thesis which focuses on the issue of causation in negligence. Gemma will be teaching Tort Law (module convenor for semester one) and French Legal Studies at Leicester this year.

Tort law, causation, negligence (inc. medical negligence).
