Leicester Law School Nominated in Discovering Excellence Awards 2017

Nomination for 'Excellence in Internationalisation' in relation to our Canadian students.

The Law School has been nominated in the University of Leicester Discovering Excellence Awards 2017. The awards recognise the outstanding contributions of members of staff and teams across the University. The Law School has been nominated for Excellence in Internationalisation, specifically for its continued focus on Canadian students.

Since our first Canadian students in 2003, over 700 have graduated from the Law School and with over 260 current Canadian students, we have the largest population of any other UK Law School. Our offer for Canadian students continues to expand through various activities, including the national Canadian Law Mooting competition, alumni networking events in Canada, our specialist Canadian Careers Tutor, the active student-run Canadian Law Society and a Canadian Research Visitor Scheme, to name a few.

The winners of the Discovering Excellence Awards 2017 will be announced at an awards ceremony later this year. Find out more about the Discovering Excellence Awards.
