The Centre for Interdisciplinary Science contributes to the University's Widening Participation Scheme, which gives students who might not ordinarily consider Higher Education the opportunity to experience it and encourages them to think about continuing their studies after school.

We currently offer the following  range of outreach activities:

If you have any questions about the suitability of a particular activity, or would like to know which might be the best for a particular group or timetable slot, we will be able to discuss what would be the most satisfactory for your students.

We aim to continually develop our outreach activities, however, if you feel that a particular subject that would be useful to your students has not been covered then please feel free to contact Dr Dickens with suggestions.
