Ozzie is in his final year on the Natural Sciences programme
Hey, I’m Osarenkhoe, a fourth year Natural Science student. In my free time I enjoying watching anime, playing video games as well as mixed martial arts. I’ll be blogging about my course, making the most of your Uni experience and interesting things you can do in Leicester.

Having graduated from the MSci course in 2015, David has now started a PhD in theoretical chemistry. Over the last two years he has been blogging about his experiences on the course.
I have a great interest in areas of research that cross more than one discipline, in particular astrobiology and computational chemistry applied to biological systems, so I knew this course was what I was looking for. Outside of the course I’m pretty into amateur astronomy, running and will generally be at a piano any chance I get.

In late 2014 Interdisciplinary Science student Osarenkhoe Uwuigbe, took part in the Leicester Award. This gives students the opportunity to develop professional skills and experience to improve their employability. As well as practice of application writing and mock interviews the award included participation in the WISE Rainmaker Challenge.
This entrepreneurial challenge sees teams given £10 and three weeks to raise as much money as possible for student society Enactus Leicester to help them create a positive impact in communities around the world.
Ozzy's team raised £457.50, more than any other group. As a result he was later given the 'Most Enterprising Student Award' at the University of Leicester Students' Union Awards Ceremony 2015.
