The department of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation is a research-led department engaged in internationally competitive research. The department brings together basic and clinical scientists with established strengths in microbial sciences, respiratory diseases, kidney diseases and immunology.
The department is well funded from a range of sources including the MRC, BBSRC, The Wellcome Trust, the European Commission, UK charities, NIHR, The Royal Society, EMDA and Industry.
We welcome enquiries from UK, European and overseas research students, postdoctoral and academic researchers interested in working in a stimulating and exciting research environment.
