- is a twelve month full-time course that will lead to a Master of Science degree.
- has been designed to integrate cutting-edge research knowledge of important infectious diseases and their relationship to the immune system.
- combines up-to-date theoretical-based teaching and a large element of practical and laboratory training inlcuding a six-month research project.
- prepares students for careers in applied biomedical research.
Course Organisation
The MSc course comprises taught modules and guided research culminating in an eight-month project placement in a University research laboratory (see course details). All modules are taught by internationally renowned experts in the field of Immunology and Infectious Diseases. They share between them a scope of research expertise that provides an ideal environment for postgraduate teaching at both Masters and Doctoral levels (there are currently 90 postgraduate students registered in our Department).
