Diabetes Continuing Professional Development Modules

The Diabetes Programme of study supports continuing professional development (CPD) by providing high quality training and transferable skills for healthcare and non healthcare professionals. Our modules provide a sound clinical grounding with an academic underpinning.

All of the modules can be accessed individually, without enrolling for a higher award. Students can choose to attend module taught days only and gain a certificate of attendance or go on to obtain the credits associated with the module by successfully completing the module assessments. Leicester Wrist Fracture Management Course

Wrist fracture management is one of the most rapidly evolving & challenging areas in Trauma Orthopaedics for the trainee. 

The aim of the course is to develop skills in practically dealing with wrist fractures & answering the in-depth questions posed by the FRCS Orth & Trauma.

The course provides a comprehensive programme of 'hands on' practicals, case based discussion groups & keynote lectures.

Hand Fracture Management Course

A two-day residential course for Trainees, Consultants and others who are or will be called upon to deliver care for hand fractures.  The programme offers two days of keynote lectures, demonstrations, practicals and interactive discussion emphasising maximum integration between delegate and experienced faculty (practicals to cover conservative, wiring, internal and external fixation techniques).
