Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for postgraduates who would like to improve their oral presentation skills, and will concentrate on skills applicable to all situations, whether talking in research group meetings, at specialist conferences, or to the general public.

What will it cover?

The workshop will focus on three main areas of presentation skills:

  • Designing and structuring an oral presentation.
  • Using your voice and body language effectively.
  • How to deal with nerves relating to public speaking.
  • There will be a number opportunities to practise these skills during the session.
