Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for postgradautes seeking to learn how to manage their reading and effectively define and write their literature review.

What will it cover?

By the end of the workshop you will have:

  • Gained a greater knowledge of the essential arts of critical reading, and how to deconstruct a text
  • Developed simple but effective techniques for efficient note taking  
  • Thought about how to identify the most relevant texts and literature for their topic, and how to guard against the pitfalls of trying to “read it all”
  • Gleaned an understanding of how to construct an interesting and coherent literature review of an academic standard
