Can I invite guests from both inside & outside the University?

Yes.  This is your chance to promote your research. Guests included in your original application have already been invited so you you don't need to invite them again but you might wish to contact them to remind them or to make the invitation more personal. You can use the template letter as a guide. We have also invited your supervisor - it might be a good idea to remind them that you are presenting at the Festival.
 

Am I limited to the amount of guests I can invite?

No. However, please note, we cannot guarrantee they will come; it is up to them to accept or decline the invitation.
 

Do I have to use the template letter for my professional invitations?

No. It is just a guide. If you need advice on drafting invitation letters and getting them printed in letterheaded paper, please contact us at pgevents@le.ac.uk. We will also have generic flyers which you can distribute as you please.
 

What about my personal invitations?

Feel free to invite your family and friends to support you and to learn a little bit more about you with your researcher hat on! If you'd like to have some generic flyers to distribute, please contact pgevents@le.ac.uk and arrange to collect them from the Student Development Zone. Remember, the more people come to the event, the more exposure you will get!
 

Do I need to tell you who I've invited?

No but it would be helpful if they could confirm their acceptance of your invitation by completing the Visitors Booking Form in the Visitor Information section of the website www.le.ac.uk/gradschool/festival
