The Doctoral Inaugural Lectures celebrate and showcase PhD graduates who are both outstanding academically and able to present their work in a way that is accessible and engaging to a wider university audience. The event is also designed to provide a focus for the PhD research community across all faculties. Please register for these events using our booking form.
These Doctoral Inaugural Lectures will be delivered by the two winners of this year's College of Arts, Humanities and Law PhD Prize:
Dr Mandy de Belin (School of Historical Studies)
The Hunting Transition: Deer, Foxes, Horses and the Landscape
Dr Katherine Huntley (School of Archaeology and Ancient History)
The Archaeology of Roman Children
The lectures will be followed by a wine reception. If you would like to attend we ask that you please register for catering purposes.
