Research Students - Your Role and Responsibilities
It may seem daunting to hear that as a postgraduate researcher you will have "responsibilities".
As a postgraduate researcher, you will take on a range of responsibilities - the most important of which is that you will be responsible for planning and managing your own progress. Your supervisor is there to offer support and advice, but ultimately it is down to you.
It is important then to understand in more detail the responsibilities you have as a research student for managing yourself, managing your work, and managing your supervision:
