Paying Your Fees

Our online payments system is quick, easy, and secure.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro, and Delta cards.

Students are responsible for the payment of their tuition fees. For details of our current postgraduate tuition fees, please click here.

Students can be either self-financing (i.e., paying their own fees or having these paid by another private individual such as a family member) or have their fees paid by a sponsor (e.g., their employer or government).

Self-Financing Students

Self-financing students can either:

  • pay the tuition fee in full prior to the start of the academic year

or

  • pay in two instalments - with the first instalment payable prior to the start of the academic year and the second instalment payable towards the start of the following term

Students who choose to pay their fees in instalments should note that the first instalment must have been paid in order for them to register for their course. Should the second instalment not be paid by the requested date, their registration may be suspended.

Discount for Advance Payment

Those self-financing students whose tuition fee is £5,000 or more each year and who pay this in full prior to the start of the academic year can benefit from a £100 discount.

This discount is available to those students who pay their fees in full before completing online registration during the formal online registration period as advised by the Academic Office. Students who are eligible for this discount should simply deduct £100 from the total due when making their payment. Please note that should payment be declined or returned, this will result in removal of the discount and the full fee will be payable.

This discount is not available to students whose fees are paid by a sponsor.

Online Payments System

The easiest way for self-financing students to pay their fees is through our secure online payments system. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro, and Delta cards.

Alternatively, fees may be paid by electronic bank transfer or cheque/bankers draft - for more information, please click here. The University is unable to accept cash payments.

Sponsored Students

Students whose fees will be paid by a sponsor (e.g., their employer or government) must provide written confirmation of this before they can register. Sponsored students must provide:

and

  • a letter from their sponsor that confirms they will be paying the tuition fees (please ensure that this letter includes the student's full name and student identification number)

Once these documents have been received, the University will invoice the sponsor directly. Please note that should the sponsor fail to pay this invoice by the requested date, the student will become liable for the payment of their fees.

Please note that the University does not recognise private individuals (e.g., a family member) as sponsors.
