Postgraduate Researcher Development Workshops

The Postgraduate Researcher Development Team offers a comprehensive programme of transferable skills training workshops. These workshops are delivered throughout the academic year with core workshops often repeated each term.

Who is this training for?

These workshops are suitable for all postgraduate researchers:

  • in all Schools/Departments
  • at any stage of their research degree

You can book your place on any of the Postgraduate Researcher Development Team's workshops by completing the online booking form. Most workshops are held in the Seminar Room in the Student Development Zone in the David Wilson Library Building.

What skills will be covered?

These workshops are designed to cover a broad range of transferable skills to support you in your research degree and help you prepare for your career beyond.

The workshops have been designed around the requirements of the Researcher Development Framework - but to help you ensure that your training plan is sufficiently broad based, you are encouraged to explore some of the other training opportunities available such as the workshops presented as part of your College's training programme or the Skills for the Professional Researcher programme.

Who can I contact for further enquiries?

If you have any further enquiries about these training days, please contact the Postgraduate Researcher Development Team.
