The Postgraduate Research Conference is an annual event open to ALL postgraduate researchers from the East Midlands universities. Taking a real conference format, this event gives postgraduate researchers the opportunity to present a paper to their peers - allowing you to gain conference presentation experience in a less pressured environment.
The Conference covers a broad range of research themes and will be of interest to postgraduate researchers in all disciplines.
This year's event takes place Thursday 5th July at the University of Nottingham's Sutton Bonington Campus. The Graduate School is looking for University of Leicester postgraduate researchers who would like to attend as a delegate and meet fellow researchers from across the region.
The conference will receive papers from East Midlands postgraduate researchers working in a range of areas:
- Energy, Waste Management, and the Environment
- Heritage, Conservation, and Tourism
- Health and Well-Being in Society
- The Natural Sciences: New Discoveries and New Ideas
- Creating Technology for the Future
- Religion and its Place in Society
- Identity and Conflict Resolution

- Design and Creativity

So come along, meet your fellow researchers, and learn something new! The conference is FREE to all University of Leicester postgraduate researchers and there is a shuttle bus service to/from the conference venue and Loughborough train station.
