Students' Union Postgraduate Committee

The University of Leicester Student's Union has a Postgraduate Committee with members drawn from across the University. Committee members are there to:

  • Represents the views of the students in their College to various University Committees and Students' Union committees
  • Offer a point of contact to students who may be in need of help and advice
  • Liaise with course representatives on issues of concern
  • Ensure that the Students' Union takes into consideration the interests of postgraduate students in their College
  • Mandates the Students' Union to deal with particular issues affecting postgraduate students in their College

The Postgraduate Committee is currently made up as follows:

Faculty Committee Member
College of Arts, Humanities, and Law  Kubra Kocabas (Arts and Humanities) and Nevi Agapiou (Law)
College of Medicine, Biological Sciences, and Psychology  Muhammed Aslam (Medicine) and Faisal Nouroz (Biological Sciences and Psychology) 
College of Science and Engineering  Shankar Arumugham 
College of Social Science  Hannah Cooper (Social Science) and Abdul Fattah Soomro (Education)
