Graduate Office

The Graduate Office deals with all administrative matters relating to registered research students. It is located on the ground floor of the Fielding Johnson building and is open to visitors Mondays to Fridays 09:30 - 16:00 - so you can call in if you require advice or information during the course of your studies.

Overall responsibility for the Graduate Office. Preparation and revision of codes of practice and other procedural documents, link person for UK Council for Graduate Education, working with the Graduate Dean to coordinate Graduate School activities.

Jackie Lowe, Research Student Support Officer

Day-to-day management of Graduate Office. Maintenance of student records for continuing postgraduate research students

Brett Dodgson, Graduate School Support Officer

Support to Graduate Dean including maintenance of Graduate School web/printed materials.

Claire Parker, Chief Clerk

Receipt of Notices of Intention to Submit Thesis, submission and examination of research degree theses, award letters.

Liz Kramer, Principal Clerk

Transfers from Advanced Postgraduate status, suspensions, transfers to writing-up status, extensions of registration, and withdrawals (College of Arts, Humanities and Law; College of Medicine, Biological Sciences, and Psychology; and College of Science and Engineering)

Jennifer Heald, Principal Clerk
