Research interests are in the nature and genesis of platinum-group element and magmatic Cu-Ni sulphide mineralisation and the implications for mineral exploration, using a variety of geochemical and mineralogical techniques. Current interests are focussed on the ore deposits associated with Tertiary intrusions in east Greenland, including the world famous Skaergaard intrusion; and the largest platinum-group element resource on the planet: the Platreef of the Bushveld Complex, South Africa
