The Society fieldtrips gives you the chance to get to know your lecturers and, of course, your fellow students - after all, you're going to be with them for three years!

These tend to be less formal than departmental trips to sunny Scotland or Wales and are worth joining in with.

Ingleton

Ingleton sign up will run from Monday 11th to Friday 15th October. The trip will run from Friday 29 to Sunday 31st October.

In previous years the plan has been to travel upto ingleton on the friday evening, drop off all bags in the youth hostal and head straight to the pub! The saturday involves a packed and interesting day in the field with yet more pub action in the evening! another packed day out in the field on the sunday, returning home in time to attend squids in the union bar! More infomation and exact details will be released after the start of term.
