Contemporary Issues in HG, PG or Digital Geographies

This module offers an opportunity for you to develop your ability to undertake literature searches and a comprehensive review in an area of particular interest, working within the context of a mutually supportive tutorial group.  In the case of the 20 credit module, the course will culminate in a mini-conference, an opportunity to share your knowledge on a wide variety of contemporary geographical issues with your peers.

Assessment will vary depending on your thematic stream, but is by coursework only. It will be by a combination of:

For the 10 credit module:

• Group poster
• Individual presentation of poster or blogs

For the 20 credit module:

• Individual report (in some cases, in the form of a blog)
• Group presentation
